One week remained until the beginning of RuCamp 2010 - the new barcamp, the successor to iCamp, iCamp Russia, Nokia MobileCamp and SocialCamp.
Rucamp 2010 (or, in short, “RuLag”) will be held July 16-19 in Moscow, in its very center. More precisely, at the Strelka Institute of Media, Architecture and Design (Bersenevskaya Naberezhnaya, 14, building 5).
5 thematic sections and several classic barcamp streams have already been planned.
The thematic focus of Rucamp 2010 is on the change in human life under the influence of the development of technology and communications.
At each section, a certain number of finished projects will be presented, some will begin their life right at Rukamp. The event will be closely intertwined with " forest games ." They will then ensure the generation of new projects.
The best of the best will be presented to specially invited investors.
Rucamp will begin on July 16 (Friday) with the opening, a session of blitz presentations, an informal welcome drink, and continue with an entertainment program.
Saturday and Sunday (July 17 and 18) are the main working days of the non-conference.
Participation in Rucamp 2010 is free if registered on the Rucamp website .

The platform "Man of Tomorrow" will be dedicated to the generation of digital natives and, in a broad sense, to the future of man in the era of digital technology. Here you will talk about sneakers that monitor your weight, about the psychological problems of the digital generation, about new workspaces and a change in the concept of “work”. Time management, life kaki, a healthy lifestyle will also not be left without attention.
The “City of Tomorrow” platform will show how mobile and Internet technologies are changing the urban environment and creating new semantic fields inside it. Hundreds and thousands of useful services that you have come up with or even made will find their fans and users here.
Site "State of Tomorrow"will reveal the topic of “usability” of the state: how to use state-of-the-art technology to make state services convenient for each individual citizen - the “user” of the state.
The platform “Education Tomorrow” will demonstrate the cases of advanced educational technologies and how education leaves the walls of the school and institute, and the acquisition of knowledge and competencies turns into a permanent process.
The platform “Media Tomorrow” will tell about how the storage media and the ways of producing and delivering content to the audience will change in the future. Will the concept of “mass audience” and the ability of content producers to appeal to it remain at all?
Special projects "Social Games" (July 17) and "Social Networks" (July 18) will bring together all those associated with modern technologies of mass communication.
