The iFolder service was closed by investigators of the 3rd SC FSU at the GUVD of Moscow.
Today, 03/17/2010 in the premises of the data center, located at 2nd St. Enthusiasts d. 5, there were investigators from the 3rd emergency of the Main Directorate of the General Administration of Internal Affairs of Moscow. They presented a protocol on the need for operational-search measures in order to search for evidence posted on iFolder.ru
The administration of the service invited employees to provide maximum assistance in finding and obtaining the necessary information, as well as in establishing the identity of the user who posted it. However, police officers refused any help and tried to remove ALL the Agave equipment located in this data center to conduct their own examination. As a result of negotiations, the export of equipment was prevented, but, unfortunately, as an “alternative”, the Ministry of Internal Affairs officers turned off and sealed all the iFolder project servers, as well as other company servers that had nothing to do with the project.
Agave company considers the incident an unprecedented event that jeopardizes and doubts the existence and development of any business in RuNet. We intend to fight and defend the interests of the service and its customers, and also thank the customers in advance for information or any other help in this matter.
ps Server hosting is fortunately not affected.
