The start-up tournament Harvest @ Greenfield Project , which took place on February 20-21 , in which we participated as a technology partner, was pleased with a lot of interesting ideas.
Since there were more participants than prizes, and the projects were interesting, we decided to present our special prizes. We noted three projects:
- Gamayun (a thing bird from Slavic mythology) is an analogue of the Last.fm service for news with an intelligent ranking system and the search for current trends on a given topic.
- GeoTask - a multi-platform service of geo-dependent notes. Reminders appear on the screen of mobile devices only when approaching a certain area (for example, a list of products when approaching a store)
- SIQ - a patented technology for protection against counterfeiting with a special chip, with online verification of the uniqueness and authenticity of the goods.
These projects received certificates for free hosting of Hyper-V virtual servers with a pre-installed licensed copy of Windows Web Server 2008 (at Hyper 1 tariff ) by the end of 2010, we hope that this will be a good help in launching their projects.
