The official release of Qt 4.6.2 for Maemo

Finally waited !!! The officially supported Qt package for Maemo came out with a bunch of fixes.
What does it mean ???
Now you can officially develop applications using Qt. Moreover, integration with Maemo has improved and many bugs and shortcomings have been fixed.

The package is available from the extra-devel repository named libqt4-maemo5-dev (this is for development).
What has changed since the last TP:

• Improved Kinetic scrolling, QTableView now scrolls smoothly.
• Widgets have been improved to make it easier to poke your fingers.
• Improved OpenGL.
• QSpinBox now looks native
• Auto-rotation is now supported through window flags, rather than through integration with D-Bus
• Improved all widgets for input, now they are like native.
• And many many many corrections ....

The new release is only supported in the scratchbox SDK, since MADDE is still in beta. But still, MADDE supports the new release, for installation you need to install the package in rootstrap as on the device.
