Body scanners are now required at airports

So far, however, this is only in Manchester and London, but soon, as promised, such scanners will be the standard at all airports in the UK, then Europe and, apparently, the world.
Previously, a passenger during the inspection had the right to choose: to be felt by a security guard or to be scanned by a scanner.
Now there is no such choice. The only thing you can do is to require that your ... hmm, a photograph was examined by an airport employee of the same gender as you.
Those who refuse to scan are not allowed to board the flight.

All official statements emphasize that the images are deleted as soon as the passenger passes control and airport employees are convinced that everything is clean with him. However, the Electronic Privacy Information Center ( EPIC for short)) there was confirmation that the scanning devices have functions for storing and transmitting images (for example, via USB or via the TCP / IP protocol).
