Microsoft will offer a choice of browsers in Windows 7
As they wrote , Microsoft will offer European customers the right to choose a browser. This is stated in the message of the European Commission.
Microsoft will ship with Windows 7 a program (“consumer ballot screen”) that can easily install competing browsers, make one of the browsers main, and disable Internet Explorer. The intrigue, as before, is that it is not known which browsers will be honored with inclusion in the list of proposed browsers :-).
The report of the European Commission says that Microsoft will soon publish the details on its website.
UPD The Microsoft site has been updated , but there is, in general, no new information.
