Features of charging fees in QIWI terminals

    imageRecently, I tried to figure out how the payment fee is calculated in QIWI terminals. But the task was overwhelming. Since there is a company’s blog on Habr, it may be possible to get the right answer.

    In the picture inside 3 checks about the payment of MTS communication services. Made within a few days in 3 different system terminals in Moscow. What we see:

    * 70 rubles - 0%
    * 100 rubles - 6.98%
    * 1000 rubles - 5.99%

    Here in the article there are many different opinions in the comments, but the picture is still not clear.

    The free threshold, in theory, should work the other way around - if a certain amount is exceeded, there is no commission.

    Further, it seemed to me that the commission is fixed, but not less than N rubles - this is at least written when paid. But checks refute it.

    In the article cited, there is no commission when paying through LC, however, someone said in the comments that this is not so. And in general, the terminal, as I recall, does not report on the benefits of using a personal account.

    Maybe the size of the commission depends on the location of the terminal and the cost of renting the area? 6.98% took me from the terminal at the ABC of Taste store near the Kremlin, 0% - an inconspicuous terminal on the side of the garden ring. But somehow this is also strange, because the third terminal in the underpass, after 100 meters from the second, has already taken 5.99%.

    Perhaps they do not have the same software everywhere, and different versions can be configured for different commissions, but this is also somehow illogical.

    And, although this is from the category of utopia, I would like to wish a reduction in the commission, or at least a halt in its growth. Almost 7% is, in my opinion, a lot.

    I would be grateful for the official information.

    PS A very interesting comment came to habrahpost:

    “This is magic. I also somehow tried to figure it out =) In the terminal of the Perekrestok store (Moscow, Warsaw highway 124) the amount is randomly taken) That is you can put 100 rubles on the same phone directly in a row and there will be different fees. Or you can come and put 1000 rubles (the provider paid for the stream on July 12) and there will be no commission in general ”

    But this is an idea: the size of the commission is a random number from 0 to 7 percent. And then make the button "I'm lucky."
