Gnome 2.26 and Debian

One of Gnome's developers, Frederic Peters, shared a blog post about including the latest version of the popular Gnome user environment in the Debian distribution. According to her, in the near future packages will go to the Experimental branch, and version 2.26.1 will already be included in the Unstable branch.
In addition, Frederick introduced a script that allows you to track the status of the appearance of Gnome 2.26 in the Debian repository, as well as check the relevance of packages.
