Russian Free Software Association is being created - RASPO
The RASPO mission declared “assistance in the development, implementation and popularization of free software in Russia, the development of the domestic software industry based on open source code and free licenses, and its entry into the global software development market”.
It is assumed that members of RASPO “can be Russian legal entities that are developers or implementers of free software, or developers of software compatible with free software.”
Getting into the RASPO will not be easy: the reception "is possible on the recommendation of at least three full members and is considered approved if at least 90% of the votes have been cast for the candidate."
