ASUS has published on its website specifications for new representatives of the popular Eee PC family - all-in-one PCs with a touch screen.
It is already known that the Eee Top ET1603 and ET1602 are designed based on Intel Atom N270 processors with a frequency of 1.6 GHz. The motherboard chipset is also Intel - 945 GSE. On board both models have 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160 GB SATA hard drive, Ethernet adapters, Wi-Fi Draft N, a card reader (SD / SDHC / MS / MS Pro), a pair of speakers of 4 W each and 1, 3 megapixel webcam. Both models are equipped with a 15.6-inch widescreen (16: 9) display. This whole thing works under the control of Windows XP Home Edition.
Two new Eee PC representatives differ in video cards (in AT1603 there is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450, and in ET1602 it uses the integrated chipset). In addition, the more advanced ET1603 has a Bluetooth module.
These desktops will enter the market in the first quarter of 2009. For the price, there is no data yet. In addition to unverified information, according to which the cost of the devices will be less than $ 500.
