Our users often ask questions about the ability to view the latest actions on their Gmail account. We have developed a feature that will allow you to view the recent activity of your account and improve the security of your email account. If you suspect that unauthorized persons have gained unauthorized access to your Gmail account , you can immediately take action to protect it: change the password and security question .

To use the feature, click on the "Details" link located at the bottom of your Gmail home page, under the box information.

The information that appears in a new window reflects the time of recent logins to your account, namely: browser, POP client, or cell phone and IP addresses from which you logged in.

Just want to draw your attention to the fact that IP addresses can be slightly different from each other. This does not mean that someone else is using your mail. Perhaps your ISP assigns you different addresses for each connection. If the first few digits of the IP addresses match, there is nothing to worry about. If even the initial digits of the addresses are different, and you did not use another computer to enter Gmail, you must immediately take the necessary security measures. I advise you to pay attention to the channel through which the connection was made. For example, if you do not use the mail client to view mail, and the user’s activity history shows that you have logged in through the POP client, this indicates that someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.
