OpenDNS vs Google

    It was discovered by accident.
In short, I had a problem with the local DNS server, registered OpenDNS for myself and this is what happened:

    C: \ Documents and Settings \ RendeRR> ping www.google.com
    Packet exchange with google.navigation.opendns.com [208.69.34.230] 32 bytes

i.e. it turns out that _all_ my crawls to go to go through OpenDNS ...
YasonBy suggested a link to an 'incomprehensible' article on the OpenDNS blog. All I understand is that they don’t like FF’s calls, for example, to google for possible options for correcting typos? Or didn’t I understand something? But I like to ask Google, I even check the spelling in it =) In addition - does OpenDNS not do the same -displays the dialing options , showing along the way a bit of advertising ...
And yet, ping-pings, and where do my login / password from google account go? Not pleasant somehow, despite all privacy policy.
