Sleevage.com

Sleevage.com is a music design blog . Stumbled by accident, was fascinated by the content. Anthem of beautiful imagination and bold design decisions. For instance:
- From the packaging of the music disc of the Vonnegut Dollhouse group, you can assemble a house and populate it with cardboard figures of musicians who come complete with a disc (they should only be cut)
- Manic Street Preachers' Lifeblood album cover shows not just a trickle of blood, but a female silhouette
- Radiohead's Amnesiac Collector's Edition is a library-style book . In the pocket for the form on the cover there are dates and a list of those who took the book, as well as the music disc itself. On the pages of the book: lyrics, illustrations. In a word, a unique presentation of the album. It is no coincidence that the publication won a Grammy for the best packaging for the music album.
- Nine Inch Nails used a special thermo-chrome CD for their concept album Year Zero. After heating, secret characters appear on it (binary code) . You can see them if you eject the disc after about 40 seconds of playback in the drive, or if you heat it with a hairdryer.
