TV-Click: the first Internet television in Russia

Today, the launch of the first, as the developers say, professional Internet television "TV-Click" was announced .

Now the TV-Click company offers 15 thematic niche television programs, including the Clerks office life program, the Girl in Search reality show, the Blonde at the Wheel auto show, and the music channel Artemy Troitsky. The duration of the programs is five minutes, and the frequency of release is one to three times a week. In 2008, they want to expand the number of gears to two hundred.

Founder and CEO of TV Click mandrickRoman Mandrik hopes for the success of the project, since, in his opinion, Russia is repeating the Western experience in terms of developing the Web: in the USA, about 70% of users watch videos on the Internet, and 20% do it daily. In Russia, over the past two years, the audience of classical television has declined by a quarter, mainly due to youth. However, the audience of TV-Click is an active youth of 18-35 years old, office workers, business people, students.

The content of TV-Click TV channels is created specifically for the Web and mobile devices (video on mobile phones will be launched in 2008) and is hosted on Runet sites such as Mail.ru, Mamba.ru, Rambler.ru, AutoNet.ru, Kleo.ru , Rutube.ru, etc. Directly in the video advertising inserts will be placed - in this way the project is going to monetize.

Recall that even before launch, TV-Click sold about 45% of the authorized capital to the Russian ABRT venture fund for about $ 2 million. President of the ABRT Venture Fund Ratmir Timashev is sure that with the advent of “TV-Click” new opportunities will open up for the Russian Internet audience .
