The highlight of the program: Lenovo YOGA Book at IFA 2016

Transformers notebooks of the YOGA Book series have become a real discovery of the IFA 2016 exhibition. This is one of the few devices that has two versions with different operating systems - Windows 10 and Android. And the touch keyboard Halo Keyboard from the first show causes a lot of controversy.

    Appearance

Lenovo's branded hinge design immediately hints at a YOGA series notebook accessory. It allows you to rotate the screen to a full 360 degrees and consists of 130 parts, in addition resembles a watch strap. The hinge is designed for serious loads and is able to withstand the constant unfolding back and forth.

YOGA Book received a thin case - the thickness of the laptop is only 9.6 mm, weight - 690 grams. This was made possible thanks to the used parts of the case of magnesium and aluminum alloy. There are three possible hull colors. YOGA Book on Android is presented in gray and golden colors, laptop on Windows - only in black.

    Features

Keyboard Halo Keyboard - touch. Yes, there are no familiar keys, not so many favorite key moves and everything related to classic keyboards. But she knows how to give a tactile response and is able to learn. Key illumination only works when you need to type text. The rest of the time, the matte multi-function panel with anti-reflective coating (also known as the keyboard) can be used as a touch panel for drawing.

The demonstration of drawing possibilities was impressive - a cartoon artist painted all comers, of course, with the help of the YOGA Book. Practically it looks like this: a sheet of paper is placed on the keyboard panel and the image is applied to it using the Real Pen stylus. The stylus is able to simultaneously write and ink on paper, and produce graphic information on the screen. To transfer images using electromagnetic resonance technology (EMR) from the company Wacom. The panel recognizes 2048 options for pressing the pen and allows the pen to deviate to 100 degrees.
