Google is testing television ads
Corporation Google announced Google TV project test run, which in the future will allow advertisers to place commercials on TV automatically. EchoStar and Astound Cable agreed to act as partners.
The whole process - from downloading a video to preparing reports - is fully automated. Advertisers will be offered a simple working interface familiar to those who have already worked with AdWords. Payments will be charged per thousand impressions, and the advertiser will be able to select an audience, determine the time, number of impressions and the channel where the videos will be shown.
