    The mechanism for displaying contextual or intellectual advertising, as it is called in "Webalt", is familiar: in addition to the usual results, the user is shown advertisements matching his query by keywords.

    The company believes that so far there are not enough contextual advertising services on the Russian Internet to ensure an acceptable level of competition. In addition, according to the developers, Optimist takes into account the interests of advertisers, previously not taken into account in similar services.

    According to Alexei Gureshov, general director of the Webalta project, the innovation of the Optimist contextual advertising system is in its interface. “The interface is very easy to use,” says Alexey. - Analysis of statistics and work with ads takes place on one screen. This is an advantage over the Runner and Yandex systems. ”

    Aleksey Gureshov noted several more differences: “At the moment, Optimist has the cheapest contact price, there is no monthly fee and paid extra points.”

    Targeting is also provided free of charge - the advertiser himself chooses the audience from which regions his ads will see. There are tools for selecting keywords and obtaining a variety of statistics.

    The company plans, taking into account the existing alignment of forces, to occupy up to 30% of the Russian contextual advertising market. This Webalta market itself is estimated at $ 100 million - "and its growth exceeds all expectations."
