Kaspersky for Vista
Kaspersky Lab announces the release of new versions (MP2 - 6.0.2.614) of its flagship products - Kaspersky AV 6.0 / Kaspersky IS 6.0. The most important addition that appeared in Maintenance Pack 2 is support for the new Windows Vista operating system.
The second service pack provides Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 products with the ability to fully work with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista.
At the same time, Maintenance Pack 2 includes all the functions and additions contained in the first package - in particular, full support for the Windows XP 64-bit Edition operating system, extended functionality of on-demand scan tasks, a number of improvements to the proactive protection module, and protection of the Windows Task Manager from the introduction of malicious dynamic link libraries (dlls).
