Yandex announces an open competition for training courses in information retrieval Class 2006 . Graduate students and teachers of higher educational institutions are invited to participate. The prize fund of the competition is 1 million rubles.
The task of the participants is to present a detailed plan of lectures on one or several topics from the list of proposed, slides of these lectures, as well as the text of one of them. Evaluation of the work will be a competition commission composed of Yandex employees, representatives of universities, research institutes and information retrieval system development companies.
