The fact is that the administration of the resource issued the personal data of the user of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Belgorod Region. The social network issued all the data it had to the owner of the public, including telephones, login, IP addresses and everything else.

The head of the public is now suing the employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Belgorod Region. A police officer recently filed a civil lawsuit to recover non-pecuniary damage “for using his image, ” as RIA Novosti writes . The social network commented on the lawsuit. The administration stated that the plaintiff’s accusations had no basis.

“A legitimate request from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Belgorod Region was received, it was checked, after which a response was sent to it. According to the current legislation, VKontakte was obliged to provide the requested information in a minimal amount. Personal messages cannot be issued to any government agency without a court order. In this case, there was no corresponding court decision and the correspondence was not issued, ”says Vkontakte’s statement.
