Yandex stops supporting Jabber and no one knows about it

Nothing foreshadowed anything interesting, but since Monday I noticed that the contact list is empty. It’s as if all the friends, colleagues and clients went on vacation at the same time. Only a couple of contacts from the @ ya.ru server were online.

The idea that something went wrong a little later and strengthened after sending a message to the user in offline status. My client is upset with error 404.

Surprised and suspicious, I opened the console and saw the full server response:

    <messagetype="chat"to="*****@gmail.com"id="qip_90"><body>тест</body></message><messagefrom="*****@gmail.com"type="error"to="*****@ya.ru/work"xml:lang="ru"id="qip_90"><body>тест</body><errorcode="404"type="cancel"><remote-server-not-foundxmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-stanzas" /></error></message>
Remote server not found? And in the statuses of transport remarkable:
    Jid: j2j.ya.ru
Info request error: Error 500: Internal server error
The problem, as reported in support of Yandex, prepared to wait.

Surprisingly, the answer came quickly enough, but the result was puzzling:
Unfortunately, we can guarantee the correct performance only when using the settings with our XMPP server: yandex.ru/support/mail/chat.xml . It is possible that in this case you are confronted with the specifics of the software used, but then you can only be told something by the QiP technical support service. If there are problems with the settings: yandex.ru/support/mail/mail/chat.xml , write to us about it.

Having specified once again that the problem is not in connection, but in the exchange of messages with users of other servers I received the following answer:
I apologize for the incorrect answer. I consulted with our experts on this issue. Such problems may be related to the fact that work on XMPP will be completely stopped in the near future and XMPP will not be available for work. I'm sorry. If there are any alternative solutions for this situation, then information about this is sure to appear in open sources. I hope for your understanding.

Like this. Problems are connected with the termination of support, but there is no information about it anywhere. Neither publications in open sources (I tried to find references), nor messages, as it was with the chat in the mail , the service of bookmarks, the People and other services and services. Just what to do with contacts and active correspondence is not clear. Pleases the attitude of the company to customers.
Only a short "very sorry", after the fact.
