Samsung Startup Membership - a new program for startups in Russia

Samsung Electronics is launching the Samsung Startup Membership (SSM) program in Russia, which will enable Russian technology startups to collaborate with a global electronics manufacturer locally and internationally.

Acceptance of applications for participation is open on the official website of the program.



This initiative is not the first in the framework of Samsung’s interaction with startups.

So, in November last year, Samsung Connection Day was held at the Samsung Center for Artificial Intelligence - a meeting with Russian startups to assess the possibilities of further cooperation with the company's business units in Russia and Korea. The meeting was attended by Samsung experts (including those from headquarters in Korea) and representatives of Russian and international venture companies.

For example, here are the startups presented there:

• Humanteq - Evaluation of a user's personal portrait and preferences
  
• Mishka.ai - a platform for creating “smart” toys
• Rate & Goods - information service for products available on the market
• Total Vision - gaze tracking technology for VR / AR devices
• CGF Studio - recognition of facial expressions and human movements and their transfer to virtual avatars
• Speereo - speech recognition for embedded solutions
• Last.Backend - Automation of assembly, deployment and management of applications
• Printeltech - gas sensor for mass use
• Dioram - ultra-precise positioning for virtual and augmented reality devices
• Expasoft - Optimization of artificial intelligence solutions for embedded devices
• Sense2Beat - diagnosis and monitoring of heart rhythm disturbances
• VitaGraph - measuring and monitoring a person’s heart rate by video.

Startups participating in the program will receive:

• External assessment - a look at the technology and its prospects in the ecosystem of Samsung products
• Support in the promotion of technology and its presentation to key persons of the company
• Priority participation in the next Samsung Connection Day and other events with leading experts and engineers of the company, as well as invited guests
