[Announcement: Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Izhevsk, Kazan] Hackathon - Urbaton: we do services for citizens
On May 18 and 19, a 24-hour programming marathon will be held - Urbaton. We start immediately in four cities: Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Kazan, Novosibirsk. Developers, testers, designers and interface designers, unite! We have nurtured urban project ideas and are waiting for you to bring them to life.
You guessed it, Hackathon is about urbanism. We will improve the lives of citizens and pump the urban environment.
The conditions are simple. You have to come up with an idea for a project or choose one you like from our proposals and implement MVP in just a day. The result of the work can be a website, an application, a game, a telegram bot, or anything else, if only some problem of the city residents would be solved. We are open to any ideas: from a service that shows the nearest vegan cafe or battery pick-up point to a game with traffic light logistics and car traffic.
Hackathon will be a team. This means that several people with different roles in the team will work on the same idea: project managers, developers, designers, testers. If you have proven guys - bring it with you. If not, we will assemble a team of like-minded people from different specialties.
For the steadiest ones who plan to work all 24 hours, we ordered 50 gallons of energy. And for those who come up with brilliant ideas in a dream, we have prepared places for relaxation. Soups, cereals, salads and a night dozhor will also be, so that no one will remain dissatisfied
Finishing Hackathon will be giving away prizes for the best ideas and implementations. The winners will be selected by a jury of developers and urbanists, which we will talk about in future posts.
Hackathon is free, but registration is required. Chased to do good!
