"Yandex" began selling its own onboard computers

The company "Yandex.Avto" announced the beginning of sales of its own on-board computer for cars. It is planned to start selling at a price of 30 thousand rubles per unit. The computer combines several services of the company. You can manage the system with the help of Alice, as reported by Kommersant.

The onboard Yandex system can be installed instead of the standard multimedia system or music player. The device works on the basis of the Yandex.Auto platform, integrated with Navigator, Music, Weather.

“Now on-board computers are available for owners of Renault Kaptur, Renault Duster, Volkswagen Polo and Lada X-Ray from different release years. Soon there will be devices for Lada Vesta, Nissan Qashqai, Toyota RAV4, Skoda Rapid and KIA Rio cars, ”Yandex said.

The cost of the computer includes its installation in the service center and access to the Internet for six months. Thus, motorists receive a ready-to-use device, plus technical support - in addition to installation, the device receives warranty service.

Initially, sales of the computer start only in Nizhny Novgorod, then, perhaps, the on-board computer will begin to be sold in other cities. Yandex.Avto is a multimedia system for cars, which was introduced in September 2017.
