[spoilers] Movie Wandering Earth: The sun crashes. The Chinese and one Russian astronaut with a flask of vodka will save everyone
“First, inevitably comes thought, fantasy, fairy tale; they are followed by scientific calculation and, in the end, execution is crowned with thought. ”
- K.E. Tsiolkovsky
The Chinese made a science fiction film based on the novel of the author who wrote The Three-Body Problem . And they are going to tear the world hire.
In Intrestellar, “Plan A” to save humanity (moving the planet) was a duck, and for the Chinese it was a guide to action. We built 10,000 engines, each 11 km high, with a total thrust of 150 trillion of something there, and began to run. But during the gravitational maneuver around Jupiter, something went wrong ...
The film is on the pirate bay, and under the cut I suggest discussing how the Chinese see the technologies of the future: spacesuits, exoskeletons and rocket engines, etc.
Who watched / read - supplement and connect to the discussion.
Earth evacuation plan.
Engines
There were two tasks - to stop the Earth’s rotation by engines at the equator and to disperse the planet to the 3rd space one - by marching engines and a gravitational maneuver around Jupiter.
By the way, the engines are heated with stones.

Russians
Russian appears in front of the audience, of course, with vodka.
Russian spacesuit shoulder to shoulder with Chinese. Russian pokes vodka in a Chinese spacesuit. “Do you still want to know how vodka was transported during the time of Gagarin?”
Meet the most recognizable Russian person in China (and soon around the world) in the world (we do not consider the Commander-in-Chief).

PS
I liked the movie. Someone is fresh and peppy , even despite the naivety, cranberries and frank propaganda of the images. Something in it is Soviet-pioneer. In a couple of weeks, the film raised about a billion dollars at the box office (only in China), and now it has been bought by Netflix, perhaps it will be the most watched film of the year. The most controversial and discussed for sure. Not a single American in the frame.
