Innopolis University will hold Russia's first international autonomous vehicle design school
The event is designed for bachelors, masters, graduate students and young researchers. Authors of the best applications will receive grants covering participation, food and accommodation. Registration is open until March 1.
The school will be held in a competitive format between teams from April 6 to 13. The participants will be divided into groups and will work on their own project in the field of unmanned transport under the guidance of experts from the Center for Technology of Components of Robotics and Mechatronics of Innopolis University. At the end, developers will present practical development results, including ways to commercialize them.
In addition to the adversarial part, the school will host educational seminars and lectures on unmanned transport systems and driver assistance, navigation, recognition of road space, control algorithms, passenger interaction with cars and car behavior in various situations.
“The goal of the design school is to solve applied and scientific problems. Therefore, after completion, participants will be able to complete an internship at the Laboratory of Autonomous Transport Systems and implement their developments in existing projects, ”said Alexander Klimchik, head of the Center for Technology of Robotics and Mechatronics Components Technology at Innopolis University.
Participation in the school is paid: 15,000 rubles for citizens of the Russian Federation and 200 euros for residents of other countries. The price includes meals, accommodation and training materials. The working language is English.
