My very first head experience

    Hello.
    My name is Sergey.

And I want to tell a short story about my head.

And the head is not simple, but printing, and printing not with paint, not with water, but with photopolymer. Yes, yes, there are some.

A lot of time was spent with her, more precisely over her, more precisely over her choice, you can write a separate story about finding documentation for it, but not about that now.

In general, not without the help of SMART people, she earned.
    Outwardly, everything looks simple.

On the left is the print head, on the right is the control scarf.

    Spray looks like this:

Spray is, of course, good, but not what I need.
Therefore, we fix the head on a pre-made, strongly pre-fabricated frame, we will name it and we will manually control the head.

The process looks something like this:

The operation mode is set as follows: first, one half of the nozzles sprinkles, then, after 300 ms, the other half.

    Well, the result, of course.

Obviously now it has become that most of the nozzles are clogged. Another interesting moment ... you can see how the "balls" roll on the shafts. The tracks are not straight, but intermittent.

I think many people understood why I was doing this. Who does not quite understand, write in the comments, I will answer and tell.

But, and I have questions ... suddenly, who knows what.

    1. Has anyone worked with MJM 3D printers?
    2. What is the composition of photopolymer for these printers? Well, or at least what viscosity? What can you compare with?
    3. What is the order of work? Purely visual. For example, the head went to a corner, stood there, made a noise, and printing began.
    4. What do you think, what maximum slope can be obtained without the use of supports? It’s clear that you won’t get any bridges here)
    5. Estimated head speed in the MJM printer? For the head from the video - the maximum speed of 10 meters per second. Personally, I have little idea how it will work at such speeds: D
    6. Maybe, what if, who has pictures of the inside of the MJM printer? To a large extent, he is interested in how the highway is organized from tanks with polymer to the print head.

    Thanks for attention.
