SMIT High-Tech Biennale in Moscow

So our company has got its long-awaited own blog on the project (maybe even a little late), in which we will talk about us, the technologies that we present, our events and all the interesting things that regularly happen in the life of a large event-company, which does events such as the GEEK PICNIC festival and the SMIT high-tech biennale .
Today on the agenda - the most difficult project in our history - the high-tech biennale SMIT: 60 minutes tomorrow.
The SMIT concept is an interactive journey into the near future. Our goal is to introduce people to revolutionary inventions and gadgets that will change the world around us. Everything can be touched, tested in action and even bought. We specifically tried to concentrate not on those futuristic technologies that will appear in the distant future and have some fantastic functionality. Layouts - this is absolutely not interesting. Our goal is to demonstrate the real technologies of tomorrow that are about to enter our life or are already gradually entering it.
For two and a half months, one of the buildings of the Museum of Moscowwill turn into a futuristic city. Visitors to the Biennale will be able to walk along the technological streets, feel like the owners of the “smart” house of the future, as well as see the quadrocopter ballet and hologram shows created exclusively for the SMIT project.
The entire SMIT space will be divided into several key areas: city and transport, home, clothing, sports and medicine. In order to visit the main exposition, each visitor will be given exactly 60 minutes (in fact, a little more). At the showrooms, guests will be greeted by guides detailing the technologies presented in a single scenario.
So, for example, in the transport zone we will present a model of a hoverboard (our production) on a magnetic pad, an electric Johammer bike , accelerating to 200 km / h, an electric skateSmartphone-controlled Yuneec , Acton futuristic electric rollers and more.
In the sports-medical part of the Biennale, we will show the smart sportswear OmSignal , neyrogarnituru, mood-altering, Thync , relieves pain gadget Quell , tonometer Quardio , portable spectrometer SCIO , exoskeleton Rex , allowing people with disabilities to the support function to move freely, multifunctional tracker HealBe , virtual Runtastic trainer , Radiate smart clothes ... For those in the Hi-Tech Fashion theme, we will show an elegant dress from designer Ying Gao that blooms like a flower, you just have to get light on it, color changing depending on the mood of the Mood Sweater tops , a collection of shoes printed on a 3D printer from Pavel Posednikova and the equally beautiful 3D-printed collection of dresses from Danit Peleg , as well as exotic 3D-printed jewelry from Dorry Hsu . Designers Tobias Klein and Nick Erenvick will present their futuristic 3D-printed art objects .
We will pay special attention to virtual and augmented reality. In this zone, we will present Wizdish platform for omnidirectional movement in virtual reality , as well as various virtual reality glasses accompanied by it - Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Fibrum, Russian VRS helmet, virtual reality vest with KOR FX sensors and a controller -the Delta Six weapon , as well as the sandbox of augmented reality, which allows you to create your landscapes, mountains, rivers and even cause rainfall.
In the area of the "smart" home, connected to Lexy intelligent assistant, various devices will function, designed to simplify the life of the inhabitant of the modern metropolis. The “smart” Nywa flower pot is able to grow plants and control the process from a smartphone, and the Plantui pot , which allows you to grow up to 40 species of herbs from scratch in 4 weeks. For the kitchen - the concept of a “smart” refrigerator, the same selfie-toaster that prints Darth Vader to you on a crispy bun, the smart Eggminder egg store, which can control the freshness of the product and the no less “smart” cutting board Orange Chef , which allows you to find out the exact grammar of the products, and also stores thousands of recipes.
On this, of course, the gadgets we introduce do not end there. And in our next posts we will present them in detail, talk about their device, about how to use them and prospects. We have no illusions and we are well aware that not all of them will find application in the future. For example, a hoverboard is more a symbol of an era than a really applicable technology. Nevertheless, many of our exhibits, of course, we want to see implemented in everyday life in the very near future. And we even use some ourselves.
Well, of course, in addition to the usual exhibits, we will present a whole Test-Drive hall with various attractions. They will be available "for dessert" - guests will be taken to the hall at the end of the main exhibition.
