Nintendo has achieved the closure of the page with the browser game Super Mario 64 on Unity

A couple of days ago I published news about the work of a student studying Unity. This student was able to very efficiently recreate the first level of the already forgotten Super Mario 64 game. Moreover, this project was implemented in a browser, the toy turned out to be even more colorful than the original.

But Nintendo did not evaluate the project, and got Cloudflare to close the site. Today, the author received a notification from Coudfare, the site had to be disabled .

    CloudFlare Abuse

By the way, this story is not the first - Nintendo for some reason tries to close almost all projects that are somehow related to the game about Mario. Browser Super Mario 64 HD is probably not the last project that was closed at the request of the company.

Among other things, Cloudflare had to send the name of the provider with whom the author of the project worked for Nintendo lawyers. The developer has already written that the project was created to demonstrate technology, and not to monetize a copyrighted game.

So far, site mirrors are still available, for example, here . They will probably be covered soon too, so if there is a desire to try out the project, there is still time.
