Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Sony Xperia Z5

    Earlier this month, Sony began distributing an Android 6.0 update for its Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium smartphones in Japan, but now users from other countries, including Russia, have received the opportunity to receive OTA updates.





    The international version of the Xperia Z5 series smartphones began to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update from March 7. This is a build with the index 32.1.A.1.163, which includes the February security patches. After the update, a changed camera interface will appear, support for stickers in Xperia Messaging, and other innovations.



    The list of confirmed countries where the update has become available includes Thailand, Russia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the USA, India, Malaysia, and in the near future the list of countries will expand.
