2GIS for Linux everything and for a long time

For some reason, I use the most popular OS on a working PC and therefore there are no problems with offline 2GIS, and on my home PC (with Ubunta 15.04) I was content with the online version. So far it has not been necessary with a laptop to go off the
sudo apt-get install 2gisAnd stumbled on a message:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
2gis : Depends: libc6 (< 2.20) but 2.21-0ubuntu4 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.Of course, you could arm yourself with Google (or Yandex) and try to resolve this awkward situation, but as a lover of the shortest ways, I wrote to support and received the following response:
Good afternoon, Alexander.
This situation is due to the fact that the beta version of 2GIS does not support the current version of Ubuntu. Unfortunately, starting in February 2015, the development of a new desktop version has been frozen. We do not know when we will return to her.
When and if development continues, one of the top-priority tasks will be to make the so-called “lying” version in addition to the versions for common distributions. This will solve most problems, including support for Ubuntu 12.04. Nevertheless, it is not possible to support all distributions at all, because Qt is phasing out support for older systems.
At the moment, we not only do not work on updating the program itself, but also do not upload fresh data. So far, it is better to assume that we do not have a version for Linux, and use either the online version, or (using wine) the current windows version.
And it doesn’t matter what I wrote about the situation since 15.04, and the girl answers me about 12.04 because support he is always such a support)) Saddened, I did not stumble on the Internet on this fact from the life of this beta and decided to write about it on GT.
