Greetings to all the Hawkers!

We decided to break the prolonged silence and open the veil of obscurity over what awaits everyone in the upcoming version 0.4.5 release. It’s not long to wait for the release, just two weeks.

Themes

The last six months, Janis Adamopoulius has been working hard to fix bugs in the visual design of the operating system. As a result, more and more themes are applied almost without distortion. In some cases, the system is almost impossible to distinguish externally from XP or other operating systems.

Virtual machines

Thomas Faber turned the old hack into a full-fledged fix, and now in Virtual Box a dynamic change of screen resolution is available over a wide range.



Alexander Telyatnikov released a new version of the universal driver for ATA devices, and as a result, ReactOS began to run in the emulator of old PCem computers.

Office 2010

The result of Hermes Bieluski's work is boasting in this video. There is a slow version without music. Now anyone can install and run another office suite from Microsoft.
Please note that for successful experiments with the office you will need to install the Samba package from the application manager.
