Then you just have to run in the direction of the slope until it is completely off the ground and the flight starts. For a quick climb to a height, you can use additional devices like a winch or a paramotor.
By inertia, the paraglider always descends to the ground. In order to stay in the air for a long time, you need to feel and catch the upward currents. There are two types - dynamic and thermal air currents. Also in the air there are other types of air flows - for example, turbulent, where you can be shaken.
It is very important to have a dashboard with you - a means of objective control of flight parameters: altitude, speed of rise and descent, pressure, time, air temperature and much more.
And finally: never forget about the reserve, so as not to break.
