    The hero of today's column is Viktor Yakovlev, who heads the department at Yandex, the existence of which many do not even realize is industrial sales. According to Victor himself, this is a group that interacts with the company's VIP clients, which helps the latter build effective communication with their own audience.

    By the way, Viktor recently celebrated the 6th anniversary at Yandex - he has been working since 2009, and at first (until 2012) he specialized in working with clients.

    It's been Yandex for six years now. I came here at the very height of the crisis - in 2009, having decided to radically change my field of activity. The choice fell on the fastest growing industry - the Internet. The decision to which company to go was obvious from the very beginning, because Yandex has always been and remains close to me in spirit. After three interviews, I got into the sales department. A year later, I was the manager with the largest turnover, a year later - the leader of the group, and a year later - headed the division. It works with the 250 largest advertisers of a wide variety of business segments - from FMCG to e-commerce.

    Usually 9-10, but this does not include work at home and on weekends.

    My job is constant communication with the outside world, so Outlook and messengers are our everything.

    I prefer paper, but I use purely electronic.

    Defend your point of view and always do only what you think is right. Every year, this advice becomes more and more valuable to me.
