Russian iTech Capital Fund Invests $ 3 Million in TradingView Online Platform

    Russian private equity fund iTech Capital has invested $ 3 million in the development of TradingView, a social trading platform. As part of the investment round, TradingView received $ 3.6 million from Tech Capital, a group of Chicago businessmen Irish Angels and TechStars.

    TradingView is a social trading platform. Users in real time exchange ideas and experiences and analyze information from the market. The project makes money on paid accounts with access to advanced trading sessions, automatic alerts about attractive assets.

    TradingView will direct the funds received to launch new products, create versions of the platform in forty languages, strengthen the monetization channel and connect new sources of quotes and exchange information, Kommersant writes .

    At the end of May, the eToro social trading platform was launched in Russia . Participants manage the investment portfolio, close and open positions, place orders and can copy the actions of other traders. More than four million users are registered on the platform. The co-owner of the platform is SBT Venture Capital, the Sberbank venture capital fund. SBT Venture Capital together with the Chinese Ping An in November 2014 invested $ 27 million in eToro.
