The Russian budget will be transferred to electronic form

    Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev ordered the Russian budget to be converted to electronic form by signing Decree No. 658 of June 30, 2015, reports Slon.ru. According to experts, the work of such a system will increase the availability of information on the financial activities of state and municipal institutions and their assets.

    According to the plan, the “Electronic Budget” will post in the public domain data on the financial management of government agencies and other entities of the budget process. At a government meeting on July 9, Medvedev suggested that converting the budget to electronic form would increase budget transparency.

    “All open information will be posted on a single base, a single portal of the budget system,” the prime minister said.

    The document also approved the rules for the formation and maintenance of a list of state and municipal services, this list is also planned to be published on a single portal of the budget system of the Russian Federation.
