About questions at the interview

Habr was swept by a wave of topics about interviews. I recall an old story on this subject:

“I just can’t find an assistant for myself,” Edison Einstein once complained , “Young people come in every day, but not one comes up.”

    - And how do you determine their suitability? Einstein asked.

Edison showed him a question sheet.

“Whoever answers them will become my assistant.”

“How many miles from New York to Chicago?” Einstein read. “You need to look into the train guide.”
“What are stainless steel made of?” - “This can be found in the reference book on metal science.”

Having glanced over the remaining questions, Einstein said:

“Without waiting for a refusal, I withdraw my candidacy myself.”
