Russian AI Cup 2015: survival race for programmers

We are pleased to announce the start of the next international artificial intelligence programming championship - Russian AI Cup . This time the championship was called CodeRacing. The brave ones who dare to take part will have to program artificial intelligence to control a race car. But he will not only have to play the role of a driver, but also shoot opponents. In the "game" world there are four types of units: code cars, shells, bonuses and pools of fuel oil. The most “dirty” tricks on the track will only be encouraged: you can push other people's cars, damage them and break them.

You are free to choose any of these languages: C ++, Java, C #, Python, Ruby or Pascal.

Qualification began in the Sandbox on November 16th. The participants who have shown the best results will be able to continue the game in the next rounds of the championship, more difficult and exciting. You can polish your AI skill throughout the championship.

The following prizes await the winners of the championship:

• 1st place: MacBook Pro;
• 2-3 places: MacBook Air;
• 4-6 places: iPad Air 2;
• 60 finalists: winners sweatshirt;
• 360 participants of the second round: branded T-shirt.

Prizes from our partners Western Digital and Kingston will also be awarded to winners in the sandbox. 1-3 place: My Passport Ultra 500 GB external hard drive from WD, 4-6 place: Now V300 SSD with 120 GB from Kingston.

Last year, participants in the Russian AI Cup “played” hockey. The winner was Nikolai Vabishchevich from Moscow. In total, 1,584 programmers from 17 countries took part in the championship.
