New Yandex Minusinsk algorithm

Today, many journalists from industry publications and bloggers have contacted me, as the founder of the MegaIndex.ru service , about the report of Aleksadr Sadovsky on Baynet’s week, so I’ll just publish my position here.

1. Alexander’s report states that sites that have identified excessive use of SEO links have received notification through webmaster.yandex.ru. I asked the guys to banish the basis of our purchase for notifications (where there is access to webmaster.yandex.ru), so there are very few such sites - within 5%. Therefore, such a notification was received by sites where the share of purchased links is about 100%, their quality is very low and they have been posted for a long time.

We will definitely try to understand more precise criteria, since we have a complete index of links in Runet and the world.

2. Yandex clearly stated that “fill up” a competitor (in their opinion) would be impossible. This means that the purchase of new links (even the worst and cheapest) will not be able to drive the site under the filter.

If the site has just received a notification about SEO links about a possible lowering of positions on May 14, then removing links will also be a bad decision. In this case, positions will still fall on May 14, but not only in Yandex, but also in Google. You need to improve the condition of the link mass so that the site does not fall under these criteria. Several options can be proposed:

a. Remove 20% of already purchased links and buy new ones in their place. New links will not fall under this algorithm, since Yandex claims that it is impossible to flood the site. And these links will allow you to save the parameters for link ranking

b. Work with other types of links that can improve your link profile. One way could be to launch a campaign in the getsocial.ru service . We just officially launched it today.

From the experience of Alexander’s past statements, we can say that Yandex is actively investing in the preparation of effective reports (shoots videos, makes special buttons, etc.). Obviously, this is being done to generate discussions on these topics. But as we can see, the real actions are very different from the stated ones: the links continue to work well, etc ... But the next topic for discussion will be for several months.

Now about the money. Yandex says it wants to channel site owners' money from links into real resource improvements. Since the average budget for links in a number of exchanges is at the level of 5000 rubles. per month, it is obvious that this budget is in no way capable of really improving the quality of sites (especially complex and large).

For many years of work in the Internet marketing industry, I have already made many tools to increase conversion and improve sites ( uptocall.com , helpclick.ru , getux.ru , etc.). Unfortunately, site owners in Russia are not going to invest in improving their resources. All are interested only in the presence of a simple button for promotion.

Even today we are holding a conference called “Conversion Improvement Technologies” and it’s clear that people are not interested in it - http://www.megaindex.tv/conv2015/

However, the current changes can finally finish off the exchange of perpetual links and articles, however, rental link exchanges and automated systems procurement awaits flowering. Strategies will arise for periodically updating the reference mass, which use analytic algorithms based on big data.
