Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, pro and neo video directly from MWC

The new SE line against the background of a rather strange and slurred last year looks quite cheerful.

Crowned by her uber-smartphone Xperia Arc - definitely the best gadget of all that the company has released over the past few years. Under it is the long-awaited Xperia Play gaming phone and the Xperia Pro QWERTY-slider (by the way, the only device that the company managed not to “light up” until February 13). From below everything is covered by the youngest Xperia Neo - it’s such a Vivaz, but on Android. All smartphones, which is typical, on Android 2.3 and will appear on sale no later than the second quarter. (In past seasons, if you remember, the gadgets announced at MWC had to wait, hell knows how much).

The most discussed, of course, is Xperia PLAY. They have been waiting for such a gadget from SE for several years - and now, finally. Joy: by the time the smartphone goes on sale, more than 50 games will be ready for it (and even more will be available for the launch of Xperia PLAY in Russia), and some classic PlayStation content on the smartphone will be available. Sadness: after all, with respect to the Sony PSP and NGP portable consoles, the new Xperia PLAY is a parallel branch. And this is strange and fraught with repeating the story with Nokia N-Gage.

Sony Ericsson Xperia pro liked its size and keyboard, convenient even at first glance (and it’s also backlit!) It brings the plastic of the case - it’s not just strongglossy, but even as if with some kind of “spark”. Next to the HTC Desire Z, the new Xperia Pro looks very frivolous. And so - a nice thing. And the screen is large, and the Snapdragon inside, and even an HDMI output in stock. The keyboard, again. It remains to find out how much it will cost.

Xperia neo next to the "elders" looks rather pale - not enough wow chips. The most ordinary smartphone, although not without complaints: for example, an improved matrix of the built-in camera, which, theoretically, allows you to take better quality pictures in low light. And also there is an HDMI output.
