# HWMonitor 1.63: Support for New Intel Arrow Lake and AMD Ryzen AI
HWMonitor 1.63 was released in early April 2026. This freeware solution for Windows monitors voltages, temperatures, and fan speeds on PCs. The project has been in development for over 16 years, with the last stable version 1.59 dated August 2025. From October 2025 to February 2026, intermediate releases 1.60–1.62 came out.
The program reads data from ITE IT87, Winbond chips, built-in CPU sensors, S.M.A.R.T. HDD/SSD, and GPU. Version 1.63 emphasizes support for the latest Intel and AMD platforms.
New Intel Processors Added to the Support List
The update expands compatibility with the Arrow Lake Refresh, Wildcat Lake, Bartlett Lake, and Raptor Lake series:
- Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, Ultra 5 250K Plus (Arrow Lake Refresh);
- Intel Core 7 360, 350 (Wildcat Lake);
- Intel Core 5 330, 320, 315 (Wildcat Lake);
- Intel Core 3 304 (Wildcat Lake);
- Intel Core 9 273PQE, 273PTE, 273PE (Bartlett Lake);
- Intel Core 7 253PQE, 253PTE, 253PE, 251TE, 251E (Bartlett Lake);
- Intel Core 5 223PQE, 223PTE, 223PE, 221TE, 221E, 213PTE, 213PE, 211TE, 211E (Bartlett Lake);
- Intel Core 3 201TE, 201E (Bartlett Lake);
- Intel Core i7-13645HX (Raptor Lake).
Preliminary support for Intel Nova Lake has been added. For discrete Intel Arc GPUs, VR temperature monitoring has been introduced on B580/570 models, along with support for Arc Pro B70/B65 (BMG-G31), B60/B50 (BMG-G21).
AMD and Memory Support Expanded
AMD platforms also received updates:
- AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 (Granite Ridge);
- AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 (Strix Halo);
- AMD Ryzen AI 7/PRO 450G/E, AI 5/PRO 440G/E, 435G/E (Kraken Point 2).
Plus support for CQDIMM memory (4-rank CUDIMM). These changes enable precise tracking of thermal profiles and power draw on the latest hardware without extra drivers.
Developers highlight stable performance with legacy hardware while maintaining backward compatibility. The utility stays lightweight, requires no installation, and uses minimal resources—ideal for servers and test benches.
Related Monitoring Tool Releases
In March 2026, NWinfo 1.6.1 was updated—a portable open-source C tool for Windows (from XP). It outputs hardware and software specs in a compact format.
HWiNFO 8.44 added support for new devices and standards, available free for non-commercial use, including a portable version.
CPU-Z 2.19 improved CPU/GPU diagnostics for Windows systems. These tools complement HWMonitor in the toolkit of mid-level/senior developers and sysadmins.
Testing on the latest platforms shows accurate sensor readings without false positives. It's recommended for benchmarking and debugging overheating in high-load scenarios.
Key Highlights
- Support for Intel Arrow Lake Refresh and Wildcat Lake for monitoring new desktop/server CPUs;
- Expansion to AMD Ryzen AI Max+ and Granite Ridge with a focus on AI accelerators;
- VR temperature monitoring for Intel Arc B580/570 and Pro series;
