The founder of the Raspberry Pi Foundation has shown a display for the "raspberry"

Eben Upton, the founder of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, recently showed off a new piece of hardware for Raspberry. This is a touch screen that will complement the ecosystem of accessories and additional elements for the Raspberry Pi.
“While we were making the Raspberry Pi, we were saying that the display would appear soon, but the display would appear soon - and the display really appeared,” Upton said. The display is planned to be released before the end of this year, or at the very beginning of next year.
According to Upton, now based on the Raspberry Pi you can create even more devices than before. The very first thing that comes to mind is a tablet. True, the diagonal of the display is not so big - only 7 inches, but on the market now there are a lot of tablet PCs with such a diagonal. Tablets are supposed to be called Pi-Pads.
Since the display was created specifically for the Raspberry Pi, it connects very easily, without additional gestures.
Among other things, Upton also announced the intention of his company to release the Raspberry Pi Model A + - a completely updated mini-PC. They promise to inform about the new configuration later. It is worth recalling that the Model B + model was introduced not so long ago , with a large number of pins and some other improvements.
