MiCoach Fit Smart: Adidas Minimalist Fitness Tracker

The other day, Adidas announced the appearance of a new model of a fitness tracker, called MiCoach Fit Smart. This is not a smart watch, which many have already got used to, but a fitness tracker, which, according to the developers, should be worn only during training.

The device can record the pulse, the number of calories burned during a workout, running / walking speed, distance traveled, and average stride length.

    Design and features

The tracker is quite light, its weight is only 58 grams. Case material - plastic and silicone. There are two color options for the tracker: white and black.

The display of the device is diode, no high resolutions, bright colors and everything else, which we got used to. In general, most of the information is transmitted by the tracker to a smartphone, where all this can be seen in a detailed layout. But some information, such as the distance traveled, may be shown by the device’s display.

In addition to the “display”, the MiCoach Fit Smart tracker was also equipped with an LED strip located on the side. The brightness of the glow and the color of the strip indicate the intensity of the workout.

    Personal trainer MiCoach

It is worth noting that the device can be considered as a personal trainer. The fact is that about 100 different training plans are included in the database (all this is on a smartphone that synchronizes with the clock). At the first training session (it is one for all, it is offered at the first start of the device), the watch monitors the indicators of the human body, and then makes a recommendation on the type of training.

In general, all this is standard for MiCoach applications.

    Price

Sales will start in the United States on July 17, and in Russia on August 15. Estimated price - 199 dollars / 179 pounds / 199 euros (USA, UK, Europe, respectively).
