ReactOS released on Kickstarter (but no one knows about it)

Few people know, but ReactOS did launch a fundraiser on Kickstarter (on its commercial distribution called “Thorium Core” ), and this happened 2 weeks ago (December 23, 2013). The stated purpose of the fees is $ 120,000 . At the time of this writing, 50 people have donated a total of $ 11,121 (about 9%). The campaign will last 2 months; the end date of the fees is February 21, 2014.
I will not discuss or scold the design of the project on Kickstarter here , since I myself was not better . I can only say that the launch date was chosen very poorly - just on the eve of Catholic Christmas, and after them 2 weeks of New Year's holidays. At this time, most people
I consider the awards to be unsuccessful as well - there are 4 in total, but in fact, they all offer the same thing - a VPS subscription with monthly payment: for a month, 6 months, or 1 year. The price depends on the duration of the subscription, and is $ 8.33- $ 10 per month . Something like Hetzner vServer VQ12(as an example), only instead of Windows there will be ReactOS, and the price will be 5 times cheaper. But even the approximate configuration of the hardware that will be provided to the backers is not indicated - no matter how it turns out (after successful collection) that this is a server based on Intel Atom 230 , or even 86Duino . To the question (asked on Kickstarter) what to do for those who do not need a VPS, Jeditobe replied: " You can just donate money without choosing any reward ." Not quite the answer I expected, to be honest. Personally, I do not need VPS with ReactOS (like with Windows), but I would love to give $ 25 for a flash drive with the ReactOS logo and ReactOS live distribution installed on the flash drive . KolibriOS experience on Kickstartershows that such a reward is in demand. I personally donated $ 12 for a 1-month subscription, but to give more for a completely unnecessary reward to me is somehow “dumb”, and donate money without a reward at all - so Kickstarter is not needed for this, I could donate it right away on the ReactOS website .
However, all of the above is just flowers compared to what I will say now: nothing was said about the launch of the project on Kickstarter for 2 weeks (until January 6) on the official website www.reactos.org . It's just some kind of facepalm - how can you raise money if you don't tell anyone about it?
Now, however, they have corrected this terrible mistake, and released a news and press release. But, in my opinion, it is too late - such news should be written on the day the project is launched, or even better - in the first hours after the launch, then the effect will be maximum.
