An interesting project from designer Natalie Rojas will show us all the photos of Facebook profiles. Now the social network already has 1.2 billion profiles. Photographs of 1/6 of the world's population fit on a page reminiscent of “white noise”. The project is called Faces of Facebook . Numbering goes from left to right, from top to bottom.
Viewing all profile pictures would take 36 years, five months, nine days, six hours, 46 minutes and 16 seconds. And this is provided that it takes one second to view one profile picture.
Each profile photo takes a specific place. They are arranged in chronological order, i.e. the first is the creator of the network, Mark Zuckerberg.
“We do not violate any Facebook’s privacy rules because we don’t store the user's personal information, their photos and names anywhere,” the author says.
