Poll: why do people quit

It is no secret that in recent years IT companies have been spending a lot of effort and resources on “retaining employees”. I personally get the impression that “employee retention” is something about manipulation and not too honest managers. And in order for the guys to remain working in your team, it is enough to pay a competitive salary on time , give them interesting projects and create conditions in which they will be comfortable working.

However, everyone has different understanding of interesting projects, comfort and “competitive salary”, and I would like to understand what IT people are guided by when they change jobs.

To this end, I ask the distinguished habrayuzers who, for one reason or another, changed their work, to be noted in the voting ballot below. If I suddenly did not indicate the necessary fact, I would be glad to hear them in the comments.

I hope these results will be interesting and useful to many :)
