The development of Ubi Interactive and Microsoft turns any surface into a touch screen

Of course, for such a system, you need a projector, a special application (developed just by the combined efforts of Ubi Interactive and Microsoft) + Kinect (where without it). All of this bundle allows you to turn any vertical surface into a touch screen, and quite large. Probably the only drawback of this system is the price of the application. There are three versions of the app, with an initial price of $ 149.

Needless to say, this projector and Kinect are not included in this price. All this is purchased separately. So, the application versions differ, firstly, in the maximum diagonal of the projection “display”. Secondly, the number of possible points of contact that are able to be recognized by the system.

The smallest version of the application, worth $ 149, allows you to project a display with a maximum diagonal of 45 inches, and 1 touch point. The professional version, priced at $ 379, increases the diagonal to 100 inches, just like the business version.

The difference between the second and third versions is the number of recognizable touch points. It turns out that the professional version of the product works with only two touch points. And the business version is able to recognize and work with 20 touch points.

And one more thing: the application works only on Windows 8.
