Aquatop Display: regular bathroom as a touchscreen? No problems

Many of us like to sit in the bathroom for a long time. This is especially true for owners of cool bathtubs with hydromassage, media functions and other things. But still, sitting even in the most comfortable bathroom with the same tablet is not very convenient. The Japanese decided to meet lovers of water procedures, and proposed a pilot project that allows you to turn almost any water tank into a touch screen (optionally with voice acting and special effects).

Traditionally, Kinect, a projector, and several additional functional units, including speakers and backlighting, are used for this. Of course, the speakers should be waterproof. In general, it turned out something that, in the future, will keep fans soaking in warm water for hours. And the fact that the surface of the water in the bathroom can be turned into a touch screen is a trifle. With the help of the additional nodes mentioned above, all this can be turned into an entertainment center.

Films, photos, games - all this becomes possible. You can even control your own PC from your own bathroom, there are no contraindications. But the games are what the inventor from Tokyo did best, it seems to me.

So far, this is a prototype, without any special plans to bring the project to the commercial market. But Aquatop Display has already noticed, on many technology blogs and portals there is news about this new product. Probably, if not the author himself, then technology companies will take up the promotion of ideas on the commercial market.
