Receive parcels without notifications and passports can now be by mail across the country

Good news for those who often visit the post office to pick up your package. Russian Post customers throughout the country can now receive their packages and registered letters that do not require payment using a simple electronic signature. The process of issuing items using this technology takes no more than 1 minute.

The service is provided free of charge on the basis of a registration form filled out on the official website of the Russian Post or at the post office. It contains passport data and mobile phone number of the client. To confirm the identity, the client will need to present the passport to the operator once.

After processing the application, the client will no longer have to fill out paper notices. Now, upon receiving the parcel, the consumer simply needs to tell the operator his full name or tracking number of the item, so that the employee of the department finds it in the database. After that, the client calls his phone number to which the operator sends a confirmation code. The recipient will receive an SMS message or Push notification (users of the Russian Post mobile application) with a confirmation code, which you need to call the post office operator in order to receive a letter or package.

“The client no longer needs to worry that he left his passport at home and cannot enter the departure line on the way from work. He also no longer needs to spend time filling out notices. We traced our departure in the Russian Post mobile application, received a push notification of its arrival at the department, arrived, showed the track number, called the code from the SMS or push notification in our mobile application, and took away the departure, ”the deputy general director for parcel business and express delivery Sergey Malyshev.

The registration itself takes only a few minutes, but allows you to reduce the time of issuance of mail by 5 times and to abandon the need to fill out paper notices and present an identity card. At the same time, neither the weight nor the size of the received parcel is significant.
