Firefox for Windows 8 Tiled Interface
Just recently, in Firefox Nightly 22.0a1 there was an opportunity to surf sites without starting a full browser.

At the moment, the browser has not a lot of functions, there are very few add-ons (it was especially unexpected to go to sites without Ad Block), but you can almost fully use the browser. No plugin support was seen either.
Of the nice things - smooth and beautiful scrolling, although quite slow. But strangely enough, immediately found about: config which helped in solving this issue. In addition to the article, several screenshots at once, so that you could imagine how everything looks.
The number of available settings is simply amazing.

Search and address bar are connected into one whole, the result of other search engines can be selected below.

And it looks like an open page with the tabs turned on (if you turn them off, the screen is 100% full of content and no controls are displayed at all).

Of the planned, one can note full-featured download, history and bookmark managers, add support for add-ons (unfortunately, they, oddly enough, will not be compatible with older brother addons), synchronization between the desktop and mobile phone on Windows Phone using Microsoft services and many others buns.
